In order to create a diet plan that will be successful there are three things that need to be included in your plan. Those things are motivation, exercise and of course diet. You need to always remember this when you are trying to lose your weight. So, if you leave any part of these out of your plan you more than likely are going to fail. OK, it’s obvious you need to be motivated so you really need to figure out what is going to motivate you so that you can keep on track and not give up.
So, we know there are basically three different parts to any diet for it to be successful; diet, exercise and motivation. We also know that if you leave any one of these out of the equation you are more than likely going to fail. So let’s take your motivation. Whatever it is that you think motivates you is going to have to literally become a burning desire. It needs to be something that is extremely positive and that will reinforce you over and over. If it’s not that kind of motivation then you are just going to give up and quite. It’s that simple. There are all kinds of little things that you can do to help motivate you. Some of those things could be putting pictures up on your fridge of the “old you”, write down a list of reasons you want and need to lose the weight and make sure that you take that list with you every place you go. You need to have that motivation at your fingertips.
The second part for your successful diet plan is, well, your diet itself, you know what you are consuming. This will count for about 70% of your entire diet plan. So, it is really crucial that you eat a very healthy diet and try not to go under say 1000 calories a day otherwise you could end up getting sick and it could affect your healthy adversely. We live in a junk food filled, fast food stuffed society and that makes it a lot harder, this is why you need to cook at home and try cooking outside of the box so to speak. Be creative in the meals that you fix as well as healthy. Understand that a lot of the foods you may have been eating in the past really don’t have the nutrients that our bodies require to maintain a healthy balance. So remember the actual diet itself if the most important part of your diet plan period!
You need to make sure that your diet consists of plenty of fresh fruits, veggies, nuts, calcium, lean meat and some good carbs that are contained in things like whole grains. There are a lot of people in this country that are dying of malnutrition, that’s right. So how is that possible? It’s possible because they fill their diets with tons of fried foods, lots of fatty foods and sugars and these foods do not give their bodies the nutrition it requires to remain healthy.
The third part of a successful diet is of course exercising. This is important because it will aid in losing weight a little faster and it will simply help your overall health in the end. About 30% of your weight lose can be attributed to your exercise program. You don’t have to buy an expensive gym membership to exercise. One of the best ways and easiest ways to add good exercise is simply by taking a daily walk. Take your dog for a walk every day, go to the park, whatever, but walking is the easiest way to fulfill your requirements of exercise.
Note: In order to keep down on those eating binges always make sure to include three healthy snacks in your diet each day. This will keep you full throughout the day and at meal time you aren’t going to feel like your are starving to death.
